Motivated by an interest in my family’s background, I was inspired mostly by my father’s experience. He immigrated to the states from the Philippines at the age of 10, and settled in Tennessee. Eventually graduating from the University of Tennessee. He is pictured above with his fraternity, Phi Delta Theta (center and pointing).
